CS2 FACEIT Level Distribution & Statistics

Approximate share of players at each Level, average ELO bands, and what it realistically takes to reach Level 10.

How to read distribution data

FACEIT does not publish a live public histogram for CS2. Community snapshots and third-party trackers show a pyramid: most accounts sit Levels 3–6, with sharp drop-offs at 9–10.

Treat percentages as directional — region (EU vs NA vs SA) shifts averages because player pool size differs.

Estimated player share by level

Level 1–2: ~18% — new players, smurf resets, returning accounts in placement.

Level 3–4: ~32% — largest casual competitive band.

Level 5–6: ~28% — structured players, many five-stacks part-time.

Level 7–8: ~15% — near-premier pug quality on good days.

Level 9–10: ~7% combined — long grind, roster stability, often former league or semi-pro experience.

Average ELO bands (illustrative)

Level 3 ≈ 900–1100 ELO; Level 5 ≈ 1250–1400; Level 7 ≈ 1650–1800; Level 10 often 2000+ depending on season.

Cross-region comparisons mislead — EU Level 7 lobbies are deeper than smaller regions at the same badge.

What it takes to reach Level 10

Thousands of deliberate games, not raw hours. Most Level 10 players have fixed roles, map pools, and VOD review habits.

Expect diminishing returns: each +50 ELO at 1900+ can take 15–25 net wins against equal opponents.

Pair rank guide habits with map mastery and Premium only if queue time is your bottleneck — skill is the cap.
